No, the shard LISTS for 10g in the AH. There is a difference, particularly since there's no deposit on shards.

This thread is so bizarre.

But it got me thinking... on Uldaman runs, since the enchanter is benefitting by having the group take them to the trainer so that they can buy higher lvl enchants to sell thereby giving them more value than they could get on their own, by your logic shouldn't the enchanter pay the rest of their group then for runs through Uldaman? I mean, if the enchanter can only get there because of the skill of the group, much like the shard only comes from the skill of the enchanter, that would be fair to you, right?

if the group was only going all the way to get to the enchanter for you then it would make sense to pay them, but usually any group that takes enchanters to uldaman is going to get free enchants, or pay small amounts so that the enchanter can level their enchanting while they are in the instance

Wow, do ppl do that for EVERYTHING you win a greed on these days? That's absurd! Yeah, we worked for the loot. But who won the roll? WHo's the Enchanter? Come on now...I didn't know ppl could get so damn petty.

Stop whining tommyguns, you think you have it hard as a pally? Well, YOU GET A FREE EPIC MOUNT, us warriors have to pay a sh*t load for our abilities, way more than yours, and we have to buy our mounts. You get a discount for both 40 and 60 mounts. Also, our repair costs sky-rocket due to the fact that whenever we do an instance, everybody tells the warrior to tank. Do i want to tank as a fury warrior? No, i can out DPS everybody in my group, but you think you have it hard? Not only that, but I don't even get the damn gear, thanks to you jack *** pallies who, IMO, don't even need it. On top of that, you have it easier while grinding/questing because apparently, WE cant do jack sh*t without a freaking healer. Oh while you're at it, apparently WE are so gear dependent, we end up spending thousands of golds just to upgrade our gear. How would you like it if you had to pay 10000g for gear just to be able to GET into a raiding guild? All pallies have to do is have +healing gear and they're pretty much automatically in.

So as you can see tommyguns, quit whining. You aren't the only class that has a hard time in the game.

yeah, i didn't want to say it. rolling warrior sucks! if any class has a harder time and gets less repect than pally its warriors. curse of the plate i guess.

my point was to show how petty some players can be about loot and greed. for a mage the $ keeps flowing. to be so cheap while in a grp is to show that you dont fully understand the game.

This is a thread I started in the trade forum a while back, and basiclly I learned that with pugs I don't tell anyone I can d/e its just easier. But I do d/e for my guild all the time. (>.<) I got burned by it and it pissed me off, so now I just avoid the trouble.

mages dont make more money than anything. they spend less. my mage alt will have his epic mount at lvl 60 will no help from my main. thats mage money management.

shard rolling is more or less a greed roll. you can buy shards anytime from the AH. god forbid you let that MT have the shard for a +stam enchant or let him sell it to make up for the repair bill.

but alas, PUG are always set to: Greed before Greed and Free for All
