Just specced protection at 64.Have played ret and holy builds and Im enjoying this build better. My question is what stats should i go for on gear?

Heres my armory link [link=null]http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/?#character-sheet.xml?r=Rexxar&n=Diablokiller[/link]

How are my skill point allocated is it to much into protection or does the build look good.Im at work and i looked at my talent points and i noticed i dont have max imp(holy dmg aggro thingy) Name alludes me atm.

How does my gear look for outlands?I havent been since respec(helping wife get 58 so we can go together).

What gear should I look for in the future or can I go back to the "Old World" and get from instance runs.

I also have a low mana pool,is the normal for protection pallies?Im using SoW on boss fights and judging it and then using seal of vengence for added dmg.I see it helps with my mana and keeps me going all battle.Any advice for getting a larger mana pool cause id like to use SoC instead of SoW.

Thx for reading my questions.Any help or critizium(? its early for me ;))
is greatly appreciated.

Improved Devotion aura and 1h specialization are useless as a tank. The added armor is less than a 2% damage reduction and gets even less at 70. The white damage increase from 1h spec isn't how a paladin tank generates aggro, it's through holy damage.

As a tank you'll want guardians favour, max out improved righteous fury (more damage reduction than improved devotion aura) and sacred duty for more stamina.

Holy should be avoided as a pure tank. Getting 5/5 deflection in the ret tree offers more damage mitigation than the block value increase of Divine Strength.

As for stats your priority is getting between 200-250 spell damage. After that focus on warrior stats: Stamina, defense, block rating, dodge rating, parry rating. YOu currently have a lot of strength and hit rating, you don't need either. Paladins generate hate through reactive damage (shield blocks with holy shield and BoSanct) and spell damage from consecrate and JoC/JoV/SoC/SoV.

There is also a wonderful sticky at the top of this page by ThelsDeKwant about paladin tanking and tanking in general. Read it. Learn it. Do it.
