New Lvl 70 Spell IdeaFollow

Hey everyone, I'm posting my opinion on a new Lvl 70 spell for each class in their own forum, maybe some of you guys can edit my idea or make your own. Anyways, I'll send this forum to blizz via e-mail, maybe they'll suggest and accept some of the new ideas.

Mage

Gift of Mana-

The Mage encases a friendly target inside of a (cant think of a name for it, can you guys decide one?) that allows the target to have endless mana for 1 minute.

thats good but a little much i think maby something that increases mana regen by 100% for 15 secs or somethin like that

Tribal infusion (same idea but name sounds better XD )

Cost: 25% of total mana
Description: Gives party members +150 spell damage and healing for 15 seconds
Cooldown: 5 minutes

Or

Energy shield

Cost: 100 mana + 2.5 mana per each point absorbed
Description: Absorbs 300+ (25*level/2) damage from all sources. Each point of damage absorbed takes up 2.5 points of mana
Cooldown: 30 seconds

How about :

Force Repellence (arcane)
5% of Base Mana, 10 yard range
Instant Cast, 25sec cooldown
Creates a blast of arcane force that throws a single target 15 yards away and stuns it for 1,5 seconds.

PS. not a 70 level spell, but would be nice to have.
It could be ranked and Rank X wuld give "(5+3*X)% of Base Mana" "will affect up to X additional enemies in a 10 yard radius"

how bout this for 70 level:

Flare (fire)
800 Mana, 30 yard range
1,5 sec cast, 45 sec cooldown
Creates a very bright and noisy explosion at the targeted spot. This effect deals 50-100 damage to all enemies in a 15 yard radius and stuns them for 15 seconds if they are facing the explosion or for 5 seconds if they don't. This spell doesn't trigger Ignite and any damage done to the targets later will revive them. A target afflicted by Flare's stun effect cannot be Flared again for 40 seconds.

I would like to rather have something similar to shammy bloodlust,like ups the spelldmg instead for you and party by 100?? for 40 sec and 8 min cd on it.
Or same as blodlust but call it arcane haste increases casting speed by 50% for 40sec,guys who done arcatraz know what im meaning.

Um, backstab....there is a spell that does 1500% mana regen for 8 sec...called evocation.....lv 20.

But we're talking about something that can affect other players, even if it's just our party members. Evocation, which is nice, only affects the mage and cannot be used on friendly players. I don't think that there is a spell that could give other players mana except for a shaman's totem or vampiric embrace, which I love, but are somewhat limited in scope. I know that a lot of people wish that there was a spell that one class could cast which would give back mana points to friendly target, since there are spells that give back health points.

I'd sure like to see that spell implemented, even if it's not mages that can cast it (mostly because I want someone to give me mana when I need it).

Summon Sheep (Polymorph Air) (Now you see it...)

25% Base mana
Conjures a sheep from thin air. Sheep generates a high amount of threat. Sheep absorbs 1500 pts dmg. 3 Min cooldown.

Just sounds like a mix between Flamestrike and Dragons breath. Might aswell just give us a succubus :) Also would be a bit overpowered.

Vamp Embrace, Shammy Totem, and there is a Dranei Priest skill which restores X Mana over 15 seconds. Can't remember name.

It's called Mana Shield.

How about just changing the mana cost of spellsteal to 10% of total mana?

I'd love to see this skill in the fire tree somewhere...


Phoenix Form
25% Base mana
5 Second cast
5 Minute Cooldown

The mage transforms into a Phoenix for 1 minute; increasing damage done by fire spells by 10%, but reducing movement speed and armour by 50%. All party members within 30 yards of the Phoenix have fire spell critical strike chance increased by 3%.


I like the reduced casting-time idea, but it'd have to be changed to around 15-20 seconds or we'd get every class on our *** saying OMGWTFBBQSAUCE! AP+PoM+Trinket+Pyro+ 3 second cast time pyros. That'd be nasty. Fun, but nasty.

Brilliant Barrier
2050 Mana

Instantly shields your party, absorbing 13,050 damage. Lasts 1 min. While the shield holds, spells will not be interrupted.
