Atleast 41 points in holy, the rest wherever you want.

This is probably the most supportive build you can make: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=qVxubgzheotxGzZe

But it's up to you how far you want to go. Imp Devotion's boon for example is extremely slow, and if you're the only Paladin, you probably could very well do without Imp Might as probably only the rogues will get it, or without Kings, since there's another usefull blessing for every class out there. If you're not the only paladin, you could talk to the other pally and compensate each other.

You could also go 38/0/23 for the +6% healing received aura.

Keep in mind that if you go far into holy, it's more worthwile to go Spell Dps than Melee DPS. Don't take SoC with a full holy build. It just ain't worthwile.

Thels' build is pretty decent for a Kara healer because not only does it incorperate Light's Grace but Divine Illum as well. They might not be as overtly sexy as Holy Shock, but there have been more than enough times when the .5 off of a HL or getting 15 seconds of 50% cheaper heals has been a life saver. I went Prot after Holy to get Kings, but as Thels also pointed out, I tend to be the only pally in the group for Kara runs and tanks love the extra stamina. Depending on your guild and what you like to do outside of the instances will determine which tree you dip into and for how far. Best of luck in Kara. And when you get to the Maiden of Virtue, tell her I still hate her more than any boss.

It is a very good build, but I would lose the BoK and Improved lay of hands and put those points some where else. If you are going to be a healer use thpoints towards Toughness or Deflection to increase your staying power. If you are sword and boarding it, change your Improved Devotion Aura to Redoubt. The less damage you take as healer the better.

Hi, my holy-paly has similar build.

IMHO the Imp LoH worth the 2 talent points. You use it when you are already out of mana so the penalty is negated. If you use it on tank the additional 30% armor helps the tank survive until you get some mana. If you use it on self then you regain 900 mana.

When the party members don't need salvation then I put BoK on them.

You can actually drop at most 1 point in LOH, and I've had situations where a point in LOH would make the difference in downing a boss or a wipe, because it was or wasn't on CD.

But some selfprotection is never bad. Keep in mind however, that as long as you're healing, you can't block, making redoubt useless.

For a full healing, more or less capable offtanking build, I used the following build for a while: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sVxubgzhestVMth
