I was wondering what professions most take for there lock? Currenlty I am herb/alch but was starting another lock on a PVP server & thought about going with either Tayloring/Ench or Mining/Eng.

If you are Mining/Eng tell me why you like it? Always was curious about that profession. Is it fun & usefull & can you make some gold to pay for you stuff/repairs?

Thanks

My mage is mining/engineering. Mining is good for making money! Engineering is no good atm, but I hang on to it, because Blizz has plans on making it work.

On my lock, I'm herb/alch, mainly because I need the buffs. But this is also because I have the other proffs covered by friends/guildies.

Tailoring seems to be a good proff for a lock. Enchating is always good, but it cost a bit to lvl.

go for the money. two gathering professions + fishing. You'll be able to buy whatever you need.

I currently have a 56 lock, and have 300 tailoring and 245 enchanting.

I did this because this was my first toon in WOW. So i didnt have any $$. I wanted to be able to make my own armor and save some cash.

I made some $$ in tailoring but you end up spending more to raise your skill up in the long. The enchanting I did so I can buff my toon. I plan to use the enchanting with my next toon more, to help with the pvp.
