Hi there,
just wanted to share my happiness.
Pre-BC a lot of +AP buffs and potions did not contribute to our Ranged attack power. So I was a bit unsure whether the Flask of Relentless Assault would be usefull for us hunters.
So yesterday we went to Karazhan for our first tries on Shade of Arran. Since this fight is a pure DPS fight and Arran has no hate list, I buffed myself to the max.
All in all I had 3060 RAP at around 22% crit. The damage was insane.
Flask of relentless assault not only adds to ranged attack power, it also stacks with elixir of major agility and with fel strength elixir.
Add blessing of might and the +40AP food buff and the damage a hunter can do in this fight is really enjoyable.
For a 2h buff which persists through death the flask is also not very expensive. So all in all I'll use that one whenever we try a new DPS-heavy boss. It is so much fun to do more damage, the only thing rather difficult was not to draw hate from your tank while we cleared some trash. Even without major agility potions and the like I had around 2.8k RAP which is really hard for a tank to fight against *g*.
