1- or 2-handed?Follow

can a holy paladin use 2-handed maces? i mean, just look at Arthas and Uther, they both use huuge 2-handed hammers! but you cant be a 42/19 pally w/o a shield... any suggestions on builds (i wanna be holy)? thanks in advance

Your spec won't affect whether or not you can use mace. But if you are asking if a Combat Medic (aka Healadin) should be carrying one, all I can say is check the stats. Personally I use a sword and board when in healing mode because of the increased +heal/+int stats on those items, but you may find something in the 2h variety that will increase your capabilities. In that case, go with it. Anything that makes you better at what you do is a plus.

EDIT: guess I will add my opinion as well. If you're healing, you shoulnd't be getting hit at all so a 2H would be fine. As stated, most of the good 2H healing items are staves, but like Hammer of the Grand Crusader from Strat (for it's level) there are good 2H healing items that Palys can use. Whatever you can find that has the best stats overall, go for it. Hell, if you can get an off-hand/1H combo that has great stats, might as well (when not solo that is :P).
