Giving another chance...Follow

Ok...trying to resume:

I have a level 70 hunter but i got tired of that toon so i decided to try out every single class in the game... so i made a druid and was quite happy with this toon but i confess that i was not doing very well in the BGs (something that i like a lot to do). Besides that, I got scared when people started talking about the upcoming nerf and patch (bear form)... i had just reached level 33 with my druid when zillion of topics about it appeared in every druid forum. So i decided to stop levelling the druid and started a rogue... i love stealth and that's really fun to play with it... but then i got tired of doing the same things over and over again... sap, cs,bs... so i was thinking about to give my druid toon another chance...i was levelling as feral and had spent my points in this way:

5/5 Ferocity

2/2 Brutal Impact <-> 3/3 Thick Hide

2/2 Feral Swiftness <-> 1/1 Feral Charge <-> 3/3 Sharpened Claws

3/3 Predatory Strikes <-> 2/2 Primal Fury

2/2 Savage Fury <-> 1/1 Faerie Fury (Feral)

Where should i spend my points after that?

Is it really hard for low level druids to fight in the Bgs? It will get better? Or the problems is with me?

Are feral druids still tanking at high end instances? How is everything now, after the 'nerf'? U guys just heal?

So, if u could answer my question and give me your opinion about my dilema... i would appreciate.

and sorry about my english!

;)=

As a Druid, we can't tank everything, there are some bosses that fear, and well that is when you need the Warrior.

I am Feral, and the Group I roll with also has a Priest, Mage, and Warrior. We have a 5th spot that we fill as needed.

Between having 2 DPS, 2 Tank, 2 Healer and a Filler spot to add as needed, we are pretty good to go for just about anything.

It really depends on the people with whom you group, but Druids scale better than other classes from levels 1-70, because they get more abilities as they level in comparison to other classes. I wouldn't trade my Druid for any other level 70 Class even if it was a max gear and unlimited gold filled Warlock. lol

Being feral, BGs are my paradise, especially WSG. Druids are great flag runners because we can carry the flag in travel form when running down the field, and when we are going up the tunnel being barraged by attackers, we can shift into bear form and take the damage. In AB i enjoy being someone who can stealth and deal dps, but if we get in a tight spot I can heal. All it takes is a little patience and getting to know how each form can help you in each BG and you will do fine.

There is no instance currently in game that has not been tanking by a Druid, post patch. :)

Some bosses are BETTER done with Warriors, but a Druid CAN tank them fine. Same goes vice versa. Some bosses are BETTER done by Druids, but a WArrior CAN tank them fine.

Whee, go go forum spammage! :D

Druid PvP is the BEST PvP I've done.

I <3 PvPing as a Druid.

The one caveat is that you HAVE to know your class. You've got to read the Druid Forums, you've got to get every piece of information you can. You have to practice certain abilities and move combinations (Pounce > FFF > Mangle > Shred > Shift Bear > Bash > Shift Cat > Rip/Maim, etc).

If you can beat someone with one Form, they probably aren't very good, were afk, or were low on HP. Druid PvP is about versatility and making use of ALL of our Tools (And we have more tools then any other class).

Once you've gotten this, your Druid will shine in 1v1 and 2v1. Large scale group PvP is tougher because our Damage form (cat) goes down like a drunk teenage girl on prom night. Groups see Cat form Druid and they FF you down.

I was thinking about to expend my next 5 points all in Hearth of the wild. Is Furor something i´m really missing or can i get it after HoTW?

If you PvE only, take HotW.

If you PvP, take Furor.

Since I planned my toon for PvP from the beginning, my first 5 points went into Ferocity, then the next 5 went directly into Furor. It's THAT good for PvP.

Without Furor, beating ANY class is 10x harder as a Feral.

PvE tho, it doesn't matter much because you don't need to do the rapid shifting.

Furor and HotW are the two of the best abilities for a Feral Druid, bar none. Your build will eventually include both, but take a look at what you plan on doing the next 10 levels. If it's PvP, take Furor. If it's all grinding and PvE, take HotW.
