After levelling a priest to 24 I felt like a change so went back to my druid who I'd left at 22. Since leaving my druid I've had to re-install WoW.

I've been looking through the key bindings menu for the last hour but I can't for the life of me locate where the shape shifting bindings are. I'm making an assumption here that I'd installed some add on which allowed for binding shape shifting. I hope so or I really do need new glasses.

On another note after levelling a priest to 24 I find a priest easier to play than a druid, but a druid's a lot more fun! Anyone else find that?

Caveat: I haven't main healed in an instance yet, so I could change my mind once I've done that with priest.

There going to be kinda down on the bottom. There called like Special key bindings or something like that, I'd look it up but i'm at work... I have mine set for two buttons that sit on the side of my mouse, by my thumb, for bear and cat. Cheetah is set for R on my keyboard.

The defaults are <ctrl>+<f1>, <ctrl>+<f2>, etc.
I think it's called something like "special action buttons" in the key bindings window. While you can reassign the keys for those, you can also drag the icons for those actions to other buttons with custom key assignments.

Just wanted to add something.

You're MUCH better off if you macro the Shapeshifts and just disable the class bar (The bar with your shapeshifting icons on it).

Macroing it allows for more intuitive shifting (If I'm in Bear and want to goto Cat, I hit the Cat button, not the Bear button, then the cat button).

I suck at making macros, Itharr, what do you use to let you change back to caster form before shifting again?

Catform Shifting:

/cancelaura [stance:1] Dire Bear Form; [stance:2] Aquatic Form; [stance:3] Cat Form; [stance:4] Travel Form; [stance:6] Flight Form
/cancelaura [mounted] Swift Stormsaber
/cast [nostance] Cat Form

Bearform Shifting:

/cancelaura [stance:1] Dire Bear Form; [stance:2] Aquatic Form; [stance:3] Cat Form[stance:4] Travel Form; [stance:6] Flight Form
/cancelaura [mounted] Swift Stormsaber
/cast [nostance] Dire Bear Form

Travel / Aquatic (All in one button! :):

/cancelaura [stance:1] Dire Bear Form; [stance:2] Aquatic Form; [stance:3] Cat Form[stance:4] Travel Form; [stance:6] Flight Form
/cancelaura [mounted] Swift Stormsaber
/cast [nostance, swimming] Aquatic Form; [nostance, outdoors] Travel Form

Flight Form:

/cancelaura [stance:1] Dire Bear Form; [stance:2] Aquatic Form; [stance:3] Cat Form[stance:4] Travel Form; [stance:6] Flight Form
/cancelaura [mounted] Swift Stormsaber
/cast [nostance] Flight Form

All these macro's are Spammable. You can make it so that spamming the bear key will only put you in bear, but not take you out, by removing the form from the "/cancelaura" line. Personally I don't like that, but to each his own.

Change the part next to "[mounted]" with the name of your Mount.

This was done off the top of my head, so, hopefully it works.

Here's a good resource:

Lots of example macro's for all kindsa' cool things. :)

That's fantastic!

I've bound Cat Form to mouse wheel up, Cat Form Prowl to Mouse Wheel down and Bear Form to middle mouse button. I've made them spammable so getting back to caster's a breeze.

This is much better than what I had before, thank you very much.

I have a variation to this. I have added prowl to the cat macro.
/cast [stance:3] prowl (or something like this.

Have also added enrage to the bear macro.
/cast [stance:1] enrage

This way, I have cat bound to mouse wheel up, and bear to mouse wheel down. First scroll click up cancels form if required. Next one switches ro cat form. Next one prowls. Same with bear, except the last scroll click enrages.

This works really well and I can use all these functions really fast (just like we need to be able to!
