Does WF MH WF-1 OH still apply?Follow

Hey people! Yesterday I picked my Shaman back up, she's currently level 35 and I can't wait to reach 41 (yup I'm going for Stormstrike before DW=D) to start dual-wielding.

I read a post a while ago saying that if you put WF (for example rank 2) on your MH and WF -1 (for example rank 1) on your OH they will overgo the 3 second cooldown of WF procs. Does this still apply or has it been nerfed?

And if it has, any suggestions on which enhancement would be best for soloing for your OH?

Thanks for replying! Would you suggest using another enhancement for the OH then or does dual WF work as well as any other OH one?

it would probably be better for your DPS
to have rockbiter or flametounge offhand

Well, even when the "hidden" cooldown is up, it will still need to proc. Having another WF up on the offhand increases the chance to proc (and thus restarting the CD).

I can still be found using 2x WF when fighting lower levels mobs, just to keep WF running as much as possible. Rockbiter in all other cases.

Well, yes and no.

It really boils down to what weapons (speed/High base dmg particular) your DWing. IF your from the "2 slow weapons(something with a speed as close to, if not 3 sec delay)" point of view, then ya....WF on both hands is "ok", since a proc on either MH or OH, should result in a high spike WF proc.

If your from the "Slow MH, fast OH" train of thought, then no...WF on the OH would be a bad idea. Since WF's hidden CD is universal now, a proc on with WF on a fast OH weapon will be lower dmg than if it proc'd on the MH, it will have chewed the chance that the MH "could" have proc'd WF, and thus the main hands chance to proc will now have to wait at LEAST another 3 sec, to just have a CHANCE to proc.

With this understanding, for ppl that prefer this Fast/Slow combo, a FT or RB would be better, since it doesn't give the OH a chance to steal the MH's WF proc, not to mention that since fast weapons are more suited to DoT type dmg, a buff that adds consistant dmg, yields better results on fast weapons (something thats apx delay of 2 or faster).

that is a very bad idea since if you OH procs WF you are losing 50% on the dmg there and then further dmg since your MH isn't getting added dps

I find RB offhand works best for me, but I would much rather see blizz getting it to scale
