Trouble Deciding on main charFollow

#1 Apr 06 2007 at 2:12 PM Rating: Decent
Hey I have started on a new realm since my old realm was over populated and my rogue was getting boring so i made a hunter and this hunter is my new fav char but hen i decided to make an alt i thought wow a paladin would b awsum so i made a pally alt after i got him to lvl 14 i couldnt decide to either drop the hunter and use him mainly to farm gold until pally caught up or to just leave pally as my alt and stay on hunter...

my hunter is lvl 40 with his mount and hes broke...
my pally is only lvl 14 but seems to b more promising than my hunter...

i like to be on top with pvp and being able to do good in pve so my hunter is bm spec and my pally will b prot spec....

here are my questions right now my pally being lvl 14 isnt so much fun but he seems promising in the way that he will b fun, when does a pally start getting to b fun to play...how many lvls above him can he take? ive heard diff things like 4 3 and 5.... ive heard one person say 4 lvls above u elite.....

so should i just focus on pally or hunter i appreciate any help u can give me.

Well, kindof an odd thing to ask on a bias forum ;) ;) You know, i can't remember a time when my Paladin wasn't fun, except maybe right after hitting 40 leveling to 50 when our abilities leveled off. That grind was slow, but I still was enjoying myself for the most part.

As fas as levels above you: Yes, you should be able to take things 5, sometimes 6, levels higher than you. Multiple targets I'd say 2-3 levels above you, same with elites. Of course, this will all depend on your gear and whether it is up to par with your level or not.

Lastly, I know on my realm there's always an overabundance of Hunters. They're the easiest class to find for an instance, then Rogues. Tanks and healers are always in short supply though, so if you were to go one of those routes, it would make grouping just that much easier.

I can't tell you which you 'should' play and which you 'should' leave alone for a while cause it all depends on your personal preferance. My advice: level the Paladin some more and see if you start having fun when you start grouping, get the cooler spells, etc.. then make your decision.
