Dual WieldFollow

Should I start dual wielding right when I hit 20 or wait until a later level? I'm going to be fury specced and I know dual wield is better for that talent tree, but it doesn't get really good until you have +hit gear.

I'd suggest an Arms build (Or even 2H fury) over DWing while levelling. You seem to understand that you need +hit gear to maximize your effectiveness and this gear does not start showing up until 60+.

Having said that I haven't levelled using DW (I only fooled around with it when I got it), and it might not be that bad.

i have no trouble at all with hitting, all that semi-pisses me off is when ppl dodge, but then i use overpower. i am using the diamond hammer, and the sword you get at the end of the xroads harpies quests.

The answer to that question is, of course, going to depend on what weapons you have available to you. Generally speaking, 2 handers are going to be better dps. The offhand doesn't offer that much.

Go arms until you can actually get decent swords from the RFD quest and the Scarlet Monastery Quest. The Whirlwind Axe at level 30 is one of the best thing that happens to you at that level, if a same level rogue come to fight you you can 2 shot him assuming you have IMP OVERPOWER and face smash him. but as soon as i went down the tree to impale i started with Fury...once you get those decent sowrds tho, Sword of Omen and Vanquishers Sword..respec cuz rampage is one SWEEET ability. and you dont want to wait til 70 to get that.

I did dual wiled for a bit as soon as i hit 20 but then when i found some better 2 handed weapons i realized it was better. IMO, arms warriors dont have to be especially geared well to do good damage, where as a Fury warrior DWing will need to HAVE good gear, especially +hit and alot of AP to actually shine

Yeah, but a well geared fury warrior will pretty much always pwn a well geared arms warrior, no doubt about it. Given that both people are of the same ability...

Sure there are times when getting a string of misses can be frustrating and even fatal, but most of the time I think it's a lot more efficient than a 2H. I generate a ton of rage using DW, and even though I miss more, the misses don't cost as much damage.
