Im level 39 right now and for the past little while all I have been doing is WSG and AB cause I am waiting for my friend to hit 39 so we can level together (He is currently level 36) but enough of that..

Anyways, im currenty using the WSG lvl 38 dagger in MH and Vanquisher's Sword in OH.
I was wondering if I got the WSG sword and used it with Vanquisher's sword, would I be able to out DPS my old dagger/sword combo. I am also full assaination, up to 5/5 seal fate with imp BS but willing to respecc if this wil help me with PVP for a bit and eventually a good PVE build into the higher levels.

Any imput would be apreciated, thanks in advance.

I have a WSG undead rogue at level 39 that has been sitting there for over a year now, but i dont play her much.

Anyways, she has Vanquishers and Ginn-Su sword with dual fiery. Spec is combat swordspec.

Rest of my gear was mostly just AH greens and I donimated hard.

For that level, with the available sword options I think its hard to beat personally.

imp BS is horrible really :( you're better off gettting the talents in Sub to increase the damage of your backstab and ambush :p. And imp Ambush is better IMO. I saw a couple days ago some 39 getting 1.2k crits on me :o i think he has cold blood tho not sure >.<

I like daggers because if you go sub theres a lot of imps to more dagger oriented gear. Plus if you go dagger there is no restrictions as to what you can do move wise. Thast IMO. the up with swords is they hit more but you are gonna start a fight mostly witha cheep shot and go from there.

ZOMG....really, you should read what you write before you post it. What you're saying is that a 3/3 talent that gives you an extra 30% to crit is a horrible talent. You need to learn more about your class before you start giving people bad advice. The ONLY time you should ever think about not having imp BS in a dagger build is when you spec Muti, and even then, some ppl still use it for elementals and non-poisonable targets.

Wyns, I am sitting at 49 for awhile, and my dagger build rocks. I wish I could find 3 more points to fill up Seal Fate, but that's not gonna happen. If you wanna take a look at my build. Go to the armory, toon's name is Salwrathis on Hakkar server.

Edit: Excuse me...you shouldn't have it on a sword build either, lol.

Thanks for all the imput everyone.

I talked with my buddy and I respecced to combat swords while he stayed in assassiation.

I love swords, killing other players and even for PVE I find it alot easier although I do still miss daggers. However my overall damage in WSG and AB the last 2 nights was unbelieveable compared to my old build. I think the fact that my old build relied on being behind my target to fully maximize its total DPS, was gimping my damage in PVP. Being able to walk up to anything no matter which way they are facing you and put out sick damage is just the sort of thing i was looking for.

And of course when sword specialization procs, its just a beauty to watch :)
