I have a 70 priest that is currently shadow spec. I went shadow because I thought it would kickass in pvp, but I am noticing that in arena battles I am usually the first one to go down. I think that I need something that will make me last in the battle a little longer, and still do decent damage. I am considering this spec http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=bxMGzIbtboxZfztubbq

however I am really sad about losing mind flay. does anyone have any suggestions for me? I reallly want spirit of redemption, because for me, staying alive for the entire match is usually out of the question.

You're dps'ing I assume? What's your team look like? Strictly an Arena/PvP build?
No matter your spec you're probably going to go down first. Best way to help with that is to make sure you're running a bare minimum of 8k health unbuffed, preferably more (10k self-buffed), with a decent amount of resilience.
I'd definitely grab Power Infusion, throw it on your heaviest DPS'er (probably a 40/21 Arc/Fire mage or afflic lock) when you start to get in spell range.
Normally I'd suggest Surge of Light, but that's crit-reliant and you skipped the 2 crit talents, plus I'm not sure how useful it would be if you're not lasting long anywho.
Probably stick Inspiration into something else as well.
If this is strictly PvP/Arena, I might suggest against Divine Spirit. It's likely to get dispelled/purged pretty quickly, and afaik offers little benefit in a PvP setting.
