arms vs. protFollow

hi im currently arms warrior just got 54 NE and ive been told by guildies to stay arms until high 60's or 70, they said that b/c they will need me to tank and will then want me to switch to protection to do so. is that correct. i also have heard that there are very nice 2h wep reward wen i get to outlands and me being a arms warrior and primarily using 2h weps i think i will stay arms until 70 is that all correct? ty in advance for the info u give me

absolutely. you wont need to realy hardcore tank till 70 or so when u start runnin shadow labs . steam vaults etc. i tanked everything else as ms war from 60 -70 without a problem. the only thin is u need to keep two full sets of gear and a sword and board in your bags at all times, unless you dont mind runnin to banks before runin an instance to swap out gear every time. but like kungfu said.. its your toon your money and your time.. if your guild is making you play their way then find a new guild.
