Hemo Daggers FTW!!!Follow

Lol...now before you start the flaming, let me explain. I was sitting in TB, lvling up my enchanting, when I see this 45 rogue come up on trade channel:"WTB Helm of Fire". So, trying to save the guy some gold(and personally, I think it rapes Helm of Fire) and offer some assistance, I tell him he should try and farm the Embrace of the Lycan out of ZF.

Now, here's where it starts gettting kind of funny. (I'll call him Hemo1 for the time being)

Hemo1 - "That doesn't fit my spec."

Me - Well what spec are you? I bet combat swords or CB daggers."

Hemo1 - "Neither, I'm Hemo."

Me - "Rofl, ok. You do know that your Hemo has an equation that is determined by your weapon speed and AP, and that Hemo swords is almost entirely AP dependant right?

Hemo1 - STFU....I don't need anyone to tell me how to play. I use a dagger MH anyways.

Me - /ignore

Now, maybe I didn't use the best approach for assistance at the end, but why does it seem like when you try and help someone, they tell you to STFU and **** off?(9 times out of 10 anyways, there are some ppl out there who are gracious when I try and help, but there aren't many :P)

Helm of Fire owns. That fireball won me a lot of fights.

As for the rest of it, yeah i dunno. Some people like to do their own thing. Hunters with Str is my biggest peeve.

I could see it, but I'm not going to rely on it. 15 min cooldowns are not something I look forward to.

Comparison:
Helm of Fire - roughly .8% crit, 17 AP, 10 stam, 5 fire res., and the fireball(280-376)on 15 min CD

Embrace of the Lycan - 16 stam, 40 AP

I'm sitting at 19.9% crit, so personally, I would take the Embrace of the Lycan over Helm of Fire...that and the fact that the Helm looks hella gay, lol.

That helm looks tight as hell :P

I can totally understand somebody wanting the Helm of Fire... It's guaranteed. You dont have to run ZF a couple times and hope it drops.

I got the helm of fire at 45, went to ZF like right after i got it and lycan dropped. I used the lycan for instances and helm for solo, because yeah the lycan has better overall stats. But that helm was really fun in world PvP where fights only happen like 15 minutes apart anyway.

edit: ZF not ZG >_<

Lol...about your ZF comment. I have literally ran ZF at LEAST 20(Ukorz anyway) times, and it still has yet to drop for this toon. My other rogue? Well, it's only dropped 3 times for him. :P

The really bad thing is that you can't even stealth run up to him. Me and my buddy found out you could jump the wall where Ukorz is, but if the goblin doesn't blow up the door, they won't do anything, nor will the snakes or basilisks... :P

I am hemo rogue myself I'm not sure why he was use daggers I try that early on it sucks, I now use sword or a mace for main hand that speed it 240 to 280, I love the build now I can stand fight most mobs do excellent damage without have be behind mob. But I did have the helm of fire I love that stat they work well for a hemo rogue I believe it stam & agl, fireball give you range weapon that does ok damage. So he is probably get it for stat.. The info on not to use dagger was sound advice IMO. I know alot of dagger rogue think crazy to give up ambush & bs but I have not miss much. I do pretty good in pve & duels, I catch a lot of opponents off guard they don't expect rogue to stand in front of them do alot of damage. I love hemo build so far level 62
