Rogue Builds

I am thinking of making a Night Elf Or Gnome Rogue but am unsure of a good talent build.

I will be using 2 weapons and taking Mining and Engineering as my professions as i alrede hav a rich level 63 Warrior on the same sever.
[the main reason i want to make a rogue is the fact that i hav found and excellent dagger and sword
- Blade of the Unrequited and Gladiator's Quickblade. excellent i think you'll agree xD]

the talent line i hav made for myself is [5/14/42] -

is this a good line?
if not, what would be?

Pretty terrible imo...

Do you expect to get hit that often? Why so many dodge/parry talent... and why not take riposte if youL're investing 5 points in parry?

I think most of your point in Combat would be better used in Assassination...

i see. :s what wud u reccomend?
i am used to defence with my proc warrior.
so i guess its natrual lol

and i was told SS was a great skill to use.
so its mainly built on defence and SS :] lol

that is perfect. no joke, perect. You will kill people in PvP in about 9-11 seconds, if you have a main hand dagger. Also the build u did is terrible, i have now spent around 100g all together re-learning my talents to see what is good and shadow step is not worth it at all. Full combat is pretty amazing also but for the perfect PvE/PvP mix the link above is best, and incase it didn't work its 41/7/13, so you get Cold Blood, Mutilate, Imp. Kidney Shot, and Find Weakness in assasination. Imp Gouge and sinister strike in Combat, and then Master of decep. opportunity and Initiative in Subtlety. PERFECT. O and go for a Night Elf

Get a NElf, and ur build is horrible ! deflection ? lightning relexes ? TRASH mate :D forget em... mages/locks/shadow priests/hunters/70% of shammys wont hit u :D and as u know u cant parry fire blast or nice dot :D better add some points in assasination... for PvP build the only useful talents are imp SS and gouge...

ahhh tht is a gd build :]
do i need to use 2 daggers with Mutilate?
its just tht i'll b using one dagger and one sword.

I didnt want to be the one to tell you this > < but someone has to. Your entusiasm is great, but the problem you are going to have is that the weapons you have found for your rogue are extremely difficult to get. The Dagger is a drop from inside karazhan, which takes an organized group of 10 level 70s to obtain. and the sword, is an arena pvp weapon, which takes almost as much, if not more time then the dagger. if you are really interested in playing a rogue you should check out some of the lower end weapons and plan a build around them, you can always respec when you get your dream weapons :).

are they soulbound tho? oooo i better check :/

Unfortunately, both are Bind on Pickup and thus are tied forever to your other char.

lightning reflexs is useful but at lesser levels that 5% doesnt amount to much.

Once your agility really starts to go up, thats where it gets annoying to get a hit on you.

still not too great but if you put all in the sinister strike talent then you have to go to impr gouge. Something i dont use too often due to my fighting style. I would like the better ss but 3 points in impr gouge for me is 3 points wasted. 5.5 secs is useful but like i said i dont really need it.
