A'ight, here's my quick question about weapons.

I'm 50 and was thinking it'd be about time for me to do Mara. Problem is, it's hard to find groups on my server. (Curse you, low pop) And even harder to find decent/good groups.

Truly I couldn't care less about instances pre-BC. I just want to level and get to Outlands. However, there's the nice Thrash Blade given as a quest reward for killing the Princess. *shivers*

Being Prot, I'm wondering what anyone would wonder: When Reckoning procs, does that mean an extra attack on the two attacks, or maybe two extra attacks on 4 attacks instead of a single extra attack? So yeah, just wanted to know how it works.

Had Ripsaw drop for me on my single ZF run. Good DPS increase from Sword of Omen. I'm wondering if it's worth it to try to run Mara at all or if I should just skip it or what. I know there are a few nice one-handers that drop in ST so maybe I'd do that instead, I dunno.

Thanks for any info and/or tips.

To answer your question, yes, it should proc from reckoning. However, it is a pretty slow 1h so you are only going to get a max of three swings from reckoning. A weapon with 2.0 speed or lower will be a better option for you as a tank, and if you can find it, a 1h with spell dmg. If none are available, then the Thrash Blade ain't a bad choice.

Yeah... I didn't even check its speed. -_-

So it goes from 4 to 3. And I know a quicker weapon would benefit me as a tank, but I rarely tank. I specced Prot for the questing/grinding so that doesn't matter too much. I just thought "OMG infite attacks flooding my screen" but then again, I don't know if it procs often or not...

But, umm, are there really one-handers with +Spell Damage early on?

I'm lvl 70 and I've seen very few one-handers with + spell damage that don't drop from lvl 70 instances, so no =P

Ugh >_<

Well, at least I know I just have to get to the Outlands ASAP. :P

And I'll probably just use whatever I find instead of going after a weapon, takes too much time I could spend questing and leveling.
