I have done alot of advanced searching on this website but havent found an answer to my dilemma. I have a rogue lvl 52 now and am having a crisis on gear to choose from... mostly what AH tends to offer. I see alot of shadowcraft gear .. lately the bracers and belt. Is this gear good anymore with gear going all the way to 70? Or should I stick with greens that seem to be BC related, such as "bla bla of the Bandit."
I dont know of the these tier sets for each class and am interested in getting best gear I can but I dont want to blow gold on gear(such as shadowcraft) if its just not worth it past say lvl 60ish. If theres any websites or links that specifically show what a rogue can and should get, can they be listed.

Go for green "of the bandit" gear. Shadow craft was only good WAYYYY back in the day before they introduced the instance dire maul and added various other gear pieces. The of the bandit gear that you can buy off the AH in the high 50s is better than some T1 pieces. The stuff around 60 basically is T1+ equivalent. Just keep leveling. You'll pick um some very nice gear from quests as soon as you come to outlands. By 61-2 ish you'll have a full kit of new stuff from quests and maybe a few HFC ramparts runs.
I wouldn't bother spending much on gear 50-60, whatever you get will be replaced once you start questing in outlands.
The one thing you may want to do though is get a really good dagger, like the HWL or GM one. (this assumes you are dagger spec) The afore mentioned will last you until 68-70 before becoming outdated. Otherwise you sshould be able to get a quest reward one with 115 top end damage around level 62. just FYI.

I actually saw a green "of the bandit" dagger on AH, last week w/ 111 top-end damage, level 58/59 requirement.

One good site you can use that goes according to level range is www.wow-loot.com. I am not sure if it has been updated for BC or not...no wait...it is but I cannot find the lower level stuff now.
