Very similar to my own, so yes, it works. Will you die a lot, yes, but you'll also put a hurting on some people before you do.
If i were you i would take the 5 out of anticipation and put them in imp lit sheild and gw for those oh sh*t situations. It's also gonna be hard to gear this with mellee and casting stats so good luck with that.

Personally, i would agree with the AP and take the 5 out of Anticipation and put them in GW and ILS
and also, since this build is going to rely heavily on mana consumption, i would take out the 1 point from storm strike, and put it into Elemental mastery. A totally free CL, ES or FS comes in extremly handy when trying to output damage.
