For all of you tiring of "rate my build" threads...Follow

This is for everyone tired of the usual rate my build posts...read with caution if normal rate my build posts aren't tiresome for you.

/sarcasm on

Rate my build! I find it captures elements from all three trees in perfect harmony.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warlock/talents.html?5020122000000000000002302333032002020000000150522002032200000000

I was thinking of getting imp corruption instead of suppression, but wouldn't you rather have a better chance to hit than to improve some spell we never use?

Secondly, curse of weakness combined with soul siphon is amazing. Make the mob do LESS damage while you drain MORE health, win win situation. I kinda just threw 2 point in improved CoA because I didn't see any better use of the two points I had left over.

Not only can you make the mob do less and you drain more, but now your imp gives you more hp and Healthstones give you more hp! I don't see how you could ever die.

A warlock is nothing without his pets and stones. I guess I find it quite obvious, therefore, why I improved all our stones, pets, and our spell to heal them. No matter what situation you encounter and which pet you have out, he will be the best he can be (or she in the case of the succubus). Improved enslave demon is my favorite though. If you ever see a demon and have that talent you can enslave it and kill anything.

The destruction tree is equally as appealing. Whats better, improving ALL your spells or just one? Well, that's why cataclysm is the logical choice. The same logic also applies for choosing aftermath over bane.

At this point, the destruction tree creates real synergy with the build. Notice how both the succubus and imp get enourmously improved through the talents here. I mean, how can you pass that up with your demo tree already having buffed them as it is? Yeah, crit chance and an instant DD is cool and all, but real utility comes from your pets. Plus, I make up for that with imp searing pain.

One of a warlocks most important duties is keeping mobs off a healer. Searing pain generates a lot of threat and with an insane crit percentage you can peel that mob right off the healer into your buffed pet's waiting arms. If the mob continues to attack you cast CoW and hellfire to try to stun the guy and wait until either your pet or a tank gets aggro then drain back whatever life you lost. See the tree to tree synergy working?

Last but not least, whats a locks most hated enemy? Rogues you say? Nope, its stuns (which is why rogues are so good against us). When we get stunned it is devestating to our ability to defend ourself and fight back. I say fight fire with fire using pyroclasm. Someone stun you? Cast some hellfire and watch their life drain away as they sit trapped, stunned.

I couldn't find any better use for the three remaining points so I threw them in imp shadow bold and improved incinerate.

Sorry for the long post, I just want everyone to understand where I'm coming from with this build as I'm tired of seeing also these weak rate my build posts with all the same builds. My build has tree synergy, something these other builds lack and, frankly, show a lack of understanding of the warlock class.

/sarcasm off

PS. Excuse my momentary sarcasm, but I am bored of writing a paper and needed a break. I found it extremely amusing to try to make the worst build possible and justify it.

Also edited to better show sarcasm.

Yeah, it might be a little long winded, but I HAD to justify the choices or no one would take my build seriously!

I stopped reading after that. Did you just call Corruption 'some spell we never use'?

Hmm, I figured any and all warlocks would realize the sarcasm in my post as soon as I said that. In fact, I put it in there for that exact reason. Sorry for the confusion, ill edit my post accordingly

Ok...not trying to bash on you too much here, but you just got done saying what a waste putting points into improved Corr was, and then you put them in imp CoA, but are using CoW. I see some wasted points here, maybe you can find them too...

This is even funnier and more amusing than I originally suspected. If I came across a real rate my build thread with my build and my justifications I don't even know how I'd respond. I suppose:

People that spend too much time calculating efficiency of 0,003% added damage to certain DoT sometimes tend to forget there is a humor in the world.

At least you made me laugh even before editing.
