Solo Doomguard Quest?Follow

I managed to solo it at level 60 on my most recent lock(sure it took me about 15 tryes), so my guess is yes.
Firstly i assume you have all the stuff you need and are just trying to actualy capture him right?(honestly not like you cannot solo DM East, i could do most of it solo at 60)

usualy the only thing you will need is a healer, not like you can tank the punk, as soon as you use the quest item it generates some odd (i could off by a factor of 10)50000 thret.
some tips:
use VW to aggro originaly grab aggro, then use the prison, sac VW when you start getting hit.

Prey he dose not use his aoe that will intrupt you.

Pick the right doomguard to enslave(there is one on a cliff all by himself, i did a naked run in and died in a good spot , then rezed (I left myself naked for the quest because i knew i would be dying a few times.)


This should be a WORLD less difficult at your level, i am sure you are not getting any curshign blows, or at least not the volume i was getting.

Beware, the following is unverfied
When I went to do the quest i read quite a few posts that talked about how eazy this quest is, they were starting the capture and casting banish. I know it seems like it cannot work, but you can cast banish while you have the prison active(or you could when i tried) the problem that I had was that when the prison was finishing up the dreadloard was still banished, and therfore immune to the effect that completed the quest. so i had to do it the old fationd way.

Well the crystal prison is a 12 second channel, even if a lock used rank 1 they would be 8 seconds off, i belive that fundementaly this plan requires the Doomguard to break the banish early, spciealy if you start channeling the prision, then start banish(now a 10 second banish may work, but 20 makes no diffrence). Either way the porcess seems fishy,it is not how bliz intended for you to do the quest.
