if i want to trinket-pom-pyro from macro would this work
/cast Arcane Power
/stopcast
/cast Presence of mind
/stopcast
/use [trinket name]
/stopcast
/cast Pyroblast
never used macros before so a little help would be really appreciated

/castsequence reset= 180, Presence of Mind, Arcane Power, Trinket, Pyroblast (Rank #), Fireblast (Rank #)
Omitting the (Rank #) will cause the macro to cast the highest rank of that particular spell that you have. The 180 second reset will cause the macro to return to the start after 3 minutes without use. Haven't included a trinket in it myself so that part may vary.

by this way i have to clik it about 5 times right?

You don't need the /stopcast thingy - mine is:
/use trinket (this works longer than AP so hence I blow this first)
/cast Arcane power
/cast Presence of Mind
/cast Pyroblast (rank #)
takes 4 clicks and you got 1 dead or at least almost dead bad guy.

The /stopcast command allows a single click though.
Macro looks good, I've got a similar one to pop two healing trinkets, Inner Focus, and AoE heal on my priest :D

replace the trinket with /use (slot number) I believe 13 is top and 14 is bottom. that should do it for you.

You can just use /use Xi'ri's Gift or whatever instead of the item slot if you want.
There's a stickied thread on the official (US) WoW forums, under the Mage section at forums.worldofwarcraft.com with a big list of macros that work under 2.0
