FF-11 Lag ProblemFollow

Ok my new comp has a problem. While playing FF-11 it lags alot, especially during a party battle with all effects filtered.
I was wondering what i would need to improve the game play.
More memory (curently have 256)
Better Graphic Card
or Better Motherbboard or some other thing i cant think of off hand. If anyone has any ideas plz let me know.

Id almost given up hope someone would respond to this post. Ok heres my Laptops info.

Expandable to 1.25GB(1 open to SoDIMM slot)

Also just yesterday I added another 256 MB Memory DDR SODIMM
PC 333/266 2700/2100 200 Pin
This added memory hasnt seemed to make any diffence to game play. Thx for the help.
