*cry POL problems please help needy taruFollow

hi,
i came here first because it seems you guys help more then playonline does. lol.
im using a ps2 and ever since the update on october 7th i cant log on.. i saw they were having problems but mines different.. i tried to log on and it would hang on checkin version then id get pol-0020 error..dns not repling or something.. so i thought ok i guess i haveta format the hdd... so i did that and now it still wont work.. now it hangs and when i try to install playonline it ahngs on online certification and i get pol-1558 error..authentication error. i seen someone in here was having the same problem..my internet works fine and i can even stick in another ps2 game online and it plays fine so i dont get what it is.. its been like this for 3 days now.. i tried resetting my router.. unplugging my modem.. and all that...im gunna crawl up in a corner because i can not play lol... any help would be appreciated.. thanks in advance
