My network is set up like this
DSL---> Router -------------> Router ---> My computer with FFXI
(may have firewall)
I am trying to connect to the game, but I can't. I am assuming that there maybe a firewall on the first router. I am using windows xp. I am getting the error POL1160. My outlook is sending and recieving emails with no problem. I can use my webcam, etc. Looks like all the ports are ok.
Does anyone konw of anything about this problem? Please reply, Thanks.

Update. I was able to log into the PLAYONLINE I was able to chat with friends there, but when I tried to update the game, it says POL1160. Unable to connect. I am sitting on the PlayOnline Viewer.

Kastigir stop being an *** about it, I am having the same problems with POL-1160, I've called the company and its not their servers down or my internet ****** up. I do need some help as to how to approach this. I've thought about buying a new copy of the game, but I'm not sure that would do anything.
