class not registeredFollow

Total Hard drive space/Free hard drive space: 160GB/100GB
Amount of Ram: 1 GB
Video card type: Geforce 4 TI 128 MB
Operating system: Windows XP Pro
frequincy of problem: everytime

What is happening is that I open POL and then go to games>FFXI>click play and then that warning about not forgetting life comes up and then i click play agian...acts like it is going to go. but then crashs to desktop and then that error with the playonline viewer with a OK in the middle with class not registered

I have do the following
checked the date, time.......they are ok
run adware and Spybot search and destroy found nothing
ran antivirus online found nothing
checked the access level it is administator
uninstalled and reinstalled .........samething

yeah, ffxi does not like SP2
