I have recently moved to germany, and am now having difficulty in connecting to anything other than the internet or msn.
All i have been told is that i have to route everything through port 80 on a proxy, but i have no idea what else.

is there any way i can find out what ports i have access to without having to ask my isp? (my german is still a bit too shoddy for technical language) ie is there a web program that will tell me which ports are open and which arent, as i understand i need these ports open:
-TCP 25, 80, 110, 443 or 50000 - 65535
-UDP 50000 - 65535
the only one i know is open is 80.
i do use a proxy server.

You will find that most german tech support people have excellent english skills. I don't know enough about the subject to be of much help unfortunatly. Port 80 is just the standard web server port. all the others will vary by game.
