ffxi /netplay QFollow

I have FFXI phoenix server for a month, tonight I installed a PSX to PC adapter for my logitech netplay controller.

My problem is this, as I launch POL it goes through to the start up movie but never loads... just sits there, and I do CTRL ALT DEL and see POL.exe is not responding... Has anyone come across this issue? HAs anyone got an idea on how to resolve this? I just leveled to 16thf and just now getting hooked on the game!!
