Auto-play problems.Follow

I recently installed my copy of Empire Earth. The installation process went through, I updated the game and installed all the patches. I clicked the auto-play function and nothing happened. It stays at my desktop. I went and tried to boot it up from the drive and the same thing happened.... Anyone know whats going on and how to fix it?

Oh, btw, I've got all the system specs for it.
