I'm about to get a new laptop and want to know if it can run FFXI, and WOW, not at the same time, but run them.
Mobile Pentium® 4 Processor 538 w/HT Technology (3.20GHz, 533MHz FSB)
512 MB Ram
64MB DDR NVIDIA® GeForce™ FX Go5200 AGP 4x Graphics card
I don't have WOW yet but if it can run it, I'll probably buy it.

Yes you can. But cause you have 'only' 512 mb ram and 64MB graph card you can't put everything at optimal.
If you haven't yet bought it, you should look for a one which has better graphics card but not as good processor(just to keep price same)
And don't worry too much for that 512mb ram, it is enough if other components meets the minimum req.

I ended up getting an emachines 6811, installing FFxi now, it's got the same ram, but I'll end up getting more (got it from the store instead of custom online). The reason I didn't order more ram for that one was that it was from dell. As many people might know, dell charges a LOT for ram, like $700 for 1 gig so I was going to buy some myself and install it.
I had to go check, it's got an ATI 9600 graphics card in it and a 3400+ mobile AMD athelon 64 processor in it.
