FFXI PC: Graphics errors with latest patch.Follow

OK, here's the story.

FFXI has been working perfectly fine for a while now. No graphics problems, good fps, little lagging, everything is fine and dandy.

HOWEVER, this is not the case for these last few days. After the latest POL update i have noticed graphic bugs that are increasing in severity. At first it was just random pixel blinking, then it moved on to random horrizontal bars flashing on the right side of my game, now it has moved on to some graphics just completely going wacky and expanding and compressing at random.

As you can see, this is not a fun thing to play in.

At first i thought i might of had spyware, so i cleaned that up; no change.

Then i thought hey, maybe i have a virus, so i did a virus scan and found some, fixed em, land logged back in; no change.

OK i figure, maybe i need to defrag my computer; again, no change.

So then i finally bite the bullet and decide to just reinstall FFXI; NO CHANGE.

Now at this time i am throughly annoyed and baffled about how this happened. Why would a POL update cause me so many problems in FFXI gameplay? I have another friend who is experiencing similar problems. Also, now even POL is having glitchy pixels.

Ever other game i have works perfectly fine, it is just FFXI and POL.

I have also started experiencing the same problems. I had no trouble for the first 3 weeks of playing, and then I would begin to get gradual pixel lines on the screen, to the point now where it is nearly impossible to play or even select a character. I'm running the bare minimum specs 833mghz, 256Meg Ram, Nvidia GeForce 2 MX/MX 400 with 64 Meg. I have tried numerous drivers for the card, run virus and adware scans, defragged the HD and it's still not doing any good. I have tried getting a hold of SE but still haven't heard back from them. Anyone else have any ideas?
