The Hang.Follow

So I literally get the last copy of WOW last night from the Fry's electronics in the Chicagoland area, even traversing the blizzard-winter storm we are getting this weekend. I begin to install it last night and it stops on Disk 3, just hangs. So I defrag my computer etc all and try it again with the same result.

I check Wow tech support forums, because it is already to late to talk to a human-being, and come across the suggestion of pulling Ram? What I am curious about is if any one else had a similar problem to this and what they did to alleviate it.

Other suggestions were the possibility that the Disk/Disks are corrupted and to just make a new folder in desktop and try it that way. Really any help would be appreciated before I pull Ram or even bring my box in to see if there is a problem with it.





Turns out the third disk was bad and I returned the game. Unfortunately the store was still out of copies of WoW, so I got a refund instead of another copy, so my wait continues.
