opera browser doesn't show ffxi profiles

i'm curently using opera 7.51 and have had this problem with the last few versions i've used.

hitting any profile link (at least ffxi ones) results in a flat white web page with a core dump of items and their stats:
ex:
Blessed Hammer (Club) All Races DMG: 27 Delay: 324 MP:+10 MND:+2 Lv.41 WHM Frost Shield All Races DEF:5 ICE:+3 Lv.28 WHM/RDM/WAR/PAL/BST/ THF/SAM [] () Electrum Hairpin [Head] All Races HP:-10 MP:+25 Lv.40 All Jobs Holy Phial [Neck] All Races DEF:3 MP:+9 MND:+3 Lv.26 All Jobs Enhancing Earring [Ear] All Races HP:+5 MP:+5 Lv.40 WHM/RDM/BLM/RNG/BRD/ NIN/SMN... etc.

i didn't even know that profiles were supposed to look different until i saw a friend browse one using firefox and saw the whole graphical nice layout of it.

does anyone else use opera and have this problem? do you know a fix for it?

I don't use opera, nor do I know much about it. But I'm going to say something you don't want to hear. Try using a different browser. I never have problem with IE 6. I know everyone don't want to use Mircosoft and they are evil and so bad. But try it, if it works you know that the browser is the problem. If it don't then the problems is with your settings. I'll do some research on opera and see what I can find out for you.

Firefox works very well as an alternate choice to MS crapExplorer. I have no problems seeing profiles from any game with it.
