I'm taking a class on Java right now, its pretty basic and I have no problems with the actual programming aspect. My question is, how can I run a program without having to use a terminal?

Right now I open programs by opening a terminal and typing "java <program name>"

I want to be able to just click on an icon to launch the program. Any ideas?

thanks!

edit: yeah i know this isnt really game-related, i just figured somebody here might be able to help me anyway. if not.... well.. dont answer me ^^;;

A simple solution:
Create a shortcut on your desktop, and fill in the target field with whatever you type into the terminal. It's been a while since I've worked with Java, but I think that should do the trick.
