PlayOnline crashing before opening T_T

Can anyone help me please? I just installed PlayOnline and FFXI for the first time, and before i installed the FFXI, i opened the POL and it worked just fine. but now when i try to open it, it opens, and begins playing the beginging movie on the POL, then it minimizes when the movie is about done, or when i click on it, and it closes out... any ideas?

The same thing happened to me, go to start>programs>playonine>config and change it to windowed mode if its not on, or if it is on, turn it off.
