Avatars new shine look funny

I am using the FX5500 pci card for this computer. After the new update i heard about the new glow on the avatars. Everytime i summon fenrir, instead of a purple glow, he has like a blue highlight around him. Does this happen with the Radeon 9250 cuz iam seriously considering returning this card and getting that one instead.

Comp Spec
P4 3GZ
512 Dual Channel RAM
Dell Dimen 3000
runniing game at the mid setting can't remember at the moment
less than 1024 but more than 512 lol

Also another thing, is the resolution of the graphics suppose goes down as you lower the screen resolution. Just wondering

1. Don't get a Dell.
2. I don't know if the 9250 has the problem.
3. I think that the resolution of the graphics CAN be larger than that of the screen, but why would you want that? Actually, I failed to do that using the windower. It happened by accident and the thing crashed on me. Probably due to windower, but why would you want to put more pain on your card while it's doing game stuff via higher res than on your desktop, which makes things look a lot better and uses much less memory/gpuage than the game would?

yeah iam using the 56.64 driver or one of those 56 drivers. Blue hightlighted fenrir. I may just sell this chessy comp and get a custom comp made else where.
