Very odd disconnects on FFXIFollow

The past two days when I play FFXI I can't stay on for longer than 4 minutes. Every 4 minutes or so I disconnect. I play on PS2 and I've tried other online games and they work perfectly, whereas FFXI doesn't. Anyone know what could possibly be the problem? Thank you :)

Have you opened the ports on your router? There is a bit in the FFXI sticky about which ones need to be forwarded.
