Well, like I said this is a pretty quick question... I'm trying to remember what the 3.3v lines go to on my PSU. I'm pretty sure it is things like CD/DvD and HDD...

I've been having some mild problems with my HDD lately, and i'm thinking it could be a PSU issue with the HDD not getting enough power.

I'm thinking that because the last day or two (when this started) the power on my 3.3v line has been showing at a, frankly, dangerously low level for my liking.

So, i'm trying to remember what the 3.3 lines go to w/o having to open my case...

Straight into your motherboard, hard drives and rom/r/rw drives are on the 5/12V line.

3.3V is used for actual components on the mainboard (slots etc.), not any of your peripherals.

A variance of anything more than +-5% is bad on any of your power rails. Not so bad if it's stable, but really bad if it's changing all the time.

Thanks for the reply. Guess it is time to start looking into other things then... Oh, and the 3.3 line is staying steady, although a bit under 3.3... I'd have to run the numbers to find the % drop though, but I think my alarm is set to go off under 5%.
