My question is which graphics card would work better for FFXI?

they are near the same price and i just want to know which one to buy. any one that can help me choose one please respond.

From the looks of it, they would both work pretty well. Buy whichever one you think you'll like better. Or just go with the cheaper one and save yourself 4 bucks.

Take the 9800Opro.
Even though the X800 has a much higher clock speed and memory bandwidths than the 9800series, the SE part is what kills it.
Get the 9800Pro because I use the 128MB version and works wonders.
SE cards are generally ****. With the exception of a certain few which you can find without much trouble.

Both of them will work the game VERY fine. But if you ask my opinion, avoid anything that has SE on it.

Listen to me! DO NOT GET THE 9800 PRO! It pales in comparison to the X800 SE! Trust me, I know what I'm talking about.
However, there are probably better deals than either of these two cards that you can get, and I'll find some for you if you want me to. Just ask before I go do something...

im not dead set on those two...just that those two both looked good to me.
I suppose if u could find something better that would be great!
But my price range is like under $200...dont want to spend too much money on this.
