WoW Mouse LagFollow

I would really like to use my mouse efficiently on WoW, but the fact is I can't. The graphics are fine with:

1.8ghz Pent 4
768MB DDR RAM
64MB Intel onboard

but it's just my mouse, it moves about an inch at a time, unless i go really slow. In huge cities its the worst, in wind rider towers/zep towers its fine.

I think thats because the distance is too much even on lowest.. I would enable Hardware Cursor and Smooth Mouse if I could.. They are greyed out.

Thanks
Firesong

BTW: is there any difference if the mouse is plugged into a mouse slot (usb adapter) or if its plugged into a USB slot (no adapter)?

I'd say try hardware mouse support but hmmmmmmmmmm.

Give it a go in the USB port without the adapter if you have the spare room.

Are you sure the graphics are fine with that video card?

That could be contributing to the issue greatly, i'd suggest that you upgrade the card too, I didn't look to closely at the problem the first time round O.o. Sorry.

Yeah it was painful with 256mb and 64vid.. then I upped to 768 and it was a giant difference.. all the 'fics are on low, but hey, it's relatively smooth, all but the mouse..

the USB slot did nothing

I'd still consider investing $100 US in an upgrade for your graphics card, it will help your performance immensely.

Your system looks like an AGP one, you'd need to get something like a Radeon 9800 Pro or a GeForce 6600 GT or similar.
