Linksys 8 port Router issueFollow

Hello all, I'm setting up a network for my friend;s place with SBC dsl and linksys 8 port router w/ updated firmware, they have 2 pc 2 laptops and a ps2 wanted to play FFXI, I've read many threads about pplz having R0 disconnected issues linksys routers, but none have any solotions to fix the problems besides getting a different router, now obviously I cant use a 4 port router since I needed more than that so my choice of routers becomes limited, linksys and Dlink <maybe theres other brand 8port routers but I dunno> this is my port forwarding setup:

192.168.1.100 <pc> 50000 - 65535 tcp/udp
101 <pc> 50000 - 65535 tcp/udp
102 <lap> 50000 - 65535 tcp/udp
103 <lap> 50000 - 65535 tcp/udp
104 <ps2> 50000 - 65535 tcp/udp
104 <ps2> 1024 - 65535 TCP only

*all pc and ps2 have already set static to their IP with right DNS settings*

problem is so veries, while 2 pc stay log on and another pc or ps2 log in makes 1 PC R0, or sometimes they just all DC... I'm really stressed to find a way to make this work. I dont mind buy another router but if I can fix this I might as well do that and learn something. and also those 2 laptops sometimes play Battlefield 2 so I dunno if that will cause any problem for FFXI. please help with my problem, will greatly apprciated.

Thank you!

The easiest way i've found to get multiple machines running on a network is to enable UPNP on both your router and in the FFXI network config, that way you don't even have to worry about setting ports on your router.

If for some reason you don't want to do this or your router doesn't support it, which is very rare, you might need to open some more ports. Taken from the FFXI help sticky (please read).

VI. Router settings.

Make sure the following ports are open on your router/firewall:
-TCP 25, 80, 110, 443 or 50000 - 65535
-UDP 50000 - 65535

Known supported routers:
Most newer linksys models, older models will need a firmware revision
Most d-link routers
Most netgear routers

Good luck.
