but does intel extreme graphic cards suck for wow? i unno why they should since the pc is brand new, paid one thousand for t.

is buying a nvidia or gforce card the only way to "maybe" make my wow play run smoother?

pressing ctrl alt and delete when i start wow i see the cpu usage goes str8 up to 100.. is that bad?

Sorry to say most intergrated cards bite, which you have.Smiley: cry

The first thing I would do is try to bump my ram up to 1GIG your half way there all ready. Smiley: yippee Just add anouther 512MB. That should make a big differance, pluss ram is pretty cheap just make sure you match it to the present ram you already have. Spending $100 or more for a blastering fast DRR 400 512MB dosent do jack if you have DRR 266. If it boots at all your 400 stick will only be running at 266 speed so make sure you check first before you spend your money.

If you still feel you need a new graphic card make sure you have AGP slot, you might Have a PCI Express slot. You should be Ok with any graphic board for WOW, well anything is a step above a intergrated graphics Smiley: lol. No you don't have to spend $500 for one just make sure it is DX9 compliant.

No, it will go straight to 100% no matter what processor you have.

More RAM will help reduce the freeze-up lag you see when you go into a populated area like near the AH. A new video card will make the game run smoother wherever you are.

You can get an ATI 9800pro or nvidia 6600 for a little over $100, either one will help alot. Check out http://www.newegg.com for good prices.
