There is something wrong with my EQ startup...Follow

Alright well i am having some dificulties getting onto EQ. Now i have been able to get on before...last time i was on was roughly 4 months ago and i decided i want to play again. Well, i went and i opened up the EQ patcher and downloaded all the latest patches and as soon as the "play" button appeared i clicked on it expecting it to go to the next screen but my computer just acted as though nothing ever happened. I have tried it several times and nothing happens (obviously). Another thing i noticed that was weird was that when i went into the "advanced" setting all of ym expansions were unchecked. SO i checked them all, did a file check and saved it and tried again. Obviously still nothing happened. I even reloaded the EQ Titanium edition into my comp and still nothing happened. So now i am in need of some professional assistance (thus me posting this).
