I play FFXI on the PC, and have a problem seeing in underground or really dark areas. Like in sea serpent's grotto I can hardly see anything untill I target it. A friend has told me that the area just looks foggy to him.

Any help would be great.

Same problem happened to me on PS2/TV. I couldnt find any light settings on FFXI so I took the easy route and cranked the brightness on my TV. It seemed that everything(even not in the dark) looked better with the brightness up, so I just kept it that way.
