FFXI monitor settings help (was forum=10)Follow

I recently upgraded my graphics card drivers and in doing so, it reset my monitor brightness/contrast/gamma settings. I got all of those set back to how I like them, but when I log into FFXI, the game starts running its own monitor presets, which are really messed up. The screen is too bright and the contrast is off as well. For example, the loading screens are a murky brown/black color instead of a true black. In the config menus I only see options for adjusting the gamma, not the brightness or contrast. Any help with this is appreciated.
