Sound dead?

For some reason, i got a message saying my sound system had a problem and media files could not play when trying to listen to music and play WoW. BTW i do have BC. Any idea what could have happened? even the sound ingame is not working.

Have you done a shutdown and restart? I had the same thing occur and it fixed my problem.

Hmm.. a shut down and restart worked for now, but it happens occasionally still. Thanks :)
