Just put Vista on my PC recently got everything up an running, But now when I run the game the graphics flicker and crazy things happen on the screen. Was wondering if anyone knew where to get drivers for Nvidia other than the Nvidia website seeing as the new Vista drivers they have, don't work with my card I have. Which they worked great before. Or should I just get a new Video card.
I wanna say the problem lies in that my card doesn't support the DirectX 10 when it comes to 3D grpahics.

I do have an older card which is a Geforce MX4000 128MB. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I see that there is an updated driver that was released Feb. 20th. Is this th eone you are using or a beta driver? There are apparently drivers for 32-bit and 64-bit there.

nVidia Vista driver

For flickering issues and such, it sounds like there might be a conflict. I'd suggest uninstalling the driver, remove the card from the device manager, then reboot. After it reboots, let Vista redetect the card then browse to the nVidia folder and delete it, then reinstall the driver clean.

I have unstalled the Drivers an reinstalled them, but looking at the new driver, my particular card isnt supported. Cause i downloaded them and got the error, your card isn't supported. But I will try uninstalling card, I want to say though that it just gives my card generic vga driver's since its vista.

I know what I am about to say isn't a fix, but it is time to upgrade your video card. The MX series are stripped down versions to begin with.

Secondly, yes, the 100 series driver does not support your card.

as far as the MX4000 series, the latest driver that I know of off hand is the 91.31 drivers... found here

Your card definately does not support DX10, however, you should prob only be running DC9.0C on your machine, not 10.

Try using the 91.31 drivers and see if anything improves. If you have DX10 on your machine, you might wanna use 9.0C or upgrade your video card to one that is DX10 compatible.

Thanks for the info everyone has given. No of the driver's worked with Vista, that was main problem. I didn't try the last one by turning off WMP. That could have worked. I actually just bought a new graphics card and upgraded to 512MB 6600 series PCI-e card which seems to work pretty good.

Won't really know till I am able to put it to work a little more than running around Whitegate. But FPS seeem to stay around 12-15 in highly populated which is much better than before with old card.

Well fine. Don't but there is a known issue in Vista running WMP or WMC that causes anything graphical including WMP and WMC to flicker
