FFXI - Computer freezing up since update.Follow

Hello,

Since a day or so after the update, my computer has been freezing up with no error messages and I have to manually reboot the computer to get it going again.

Windows XP Home (SP2)
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 (93.71 driver)
AMD 64 3400+ - 2.4GHz
DirectX 9.0c
512MB RAM

I've tried check files, but it's still crashing. Also it's only doing this when FFXI is running.
