new expansions mixed with an old accountFollow

This isn't a tech. problem with my comp.

I have the Platinum edition of EQ,
therefore I only have 7 out of 13 expansions.

I plan to purchase the Anniversary edition to
remedy that.

My question is:
Will I be able to implement these expansions with
my existing account/files?
Am I going to have to uninstall everything and reinstall?
Am I going to have to start a new account?

I ask this because the Platinum edition only comes
with ONE account key for the entire set, and none for
individual expansions.

The only expansion I think I care about is
the Serpent's Spine.

Would I just be better off buying just that?
I would rather have all expanisons
and it makes more sense to get all the
expansions in the long run.

Thanks for any insight.

Been a while since I played EQ however from a system stand point providing the new platinum edition expansions install like the individuals did they should just overwrite the software. However EQ completely repackaged and made it install all custom then you will need/want to uninstall all EQ related objects as it may corrupt some data.

Generally however when you by a special edition or a battle chest version the install itself is the same they just repackaged it on fewer CD/DVD's or just made the physical box look different then throw all the regular CD/DVD's in that new fancy box.
